Peter Pappas, President of P.J. Pappas Company, is a graduate of University of Massachusetts in Amherst where he received his degree in horticulture. He grew up working on various golf courses with his two uncles where he learned every aspect of irrigation and lawn maintenance.

Peter and his father started P.J. Pappas Company back in 1984 with nothing more than a pick up truck and a shovel. Shortly thereafter, they purchased their first Ditch Witch pipe pulling machine and started to develop their residential and commercial lawn irrigation company.

Today, the P.J. Pappas Company, Inc. employs ten people and is a full service residential and commercial lawn irrigation company servicing more than 3,000 clients throughout Massachusetts. P. J. Pappas offers design, consulting, repair and installation of underground sprinkler systems as well as residential landscape lighting.

Peter Pappas is a hands-on owner. He is involved in every aspect of the business. He emphasizes customer service from top to bottom. Peter believes that “the Customer gets what they pay for” not only in irrigation systems but in terms of his staff and equipment. He has spent a great amount of effort in finding the most qualified employees and provides them with the most up to date equipment and tools to give the customer a job that is worth every penny.
